I come to you, cap in hand, with a social media call to arms…

Hello, friends.

After an influx of mailing list adds, off the back of my recent tour with Thea Gilmore, I wanted to welcome newcomers. Welcome, come on in - the water is warm and the songs are surprisingly not as sad as people make out.

I also come to you (cap in hand, excuse the Mumford get-up above - dear reader, I’m also available for low-grade Photoshop work) with a bit of a request for help. A while back, I deleted my Facebook and Instagram, and since then I’ve opened a TikTok and some other stuff. For a number of reasons a little while back, I didn’t know if I’d be making “Liam Frost” songs anymore and wanted a bit of a clean slate. The Tim Burgess Listening Parties came around and the vinyl reissues followed, and I saw the warmth that folk held for those songs and here we are again.

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

So here it is - I don’t really like social media a great deal. However, it is increasingly becoming one of the necessary evils of putting out music and playing shows, and this is something I’m planning on doing a lot more of soon. So if possible, I’d love it if you could throw me some follows at TikTok, Twitter (I’m not calling it X), Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, then wherever you stream music - Spotify, Apple Music etc. There’s a button below that’ll take you to my Foundee page, where you’ll be provided with all of those links. This stuff is really important now - thank you so much in advance.

I’m planning to throw out a few things as we build towards a release and some shows, I’ve got something a little more long-form in my back pocket too. Keep them peeled.

With gratitude, as ever.

Liam
